pythonanywhere.com URLs blacklisted by Cloudfilter.net?

Hi there

I use Site5 for my email hosting and they use Cloudfilter.net for spam prevention on outgoing email. For the last few weeks I have found that any URL with pythonanywhere.com in is prevented from going out, returning a 550 error - "message rejected AUP#SNDR ."

Site5 have confirmed that Cloudfilter have pythonanywhere.com and variations as "spammy"! Anyone else encountering this, and any thoughts on how to fix it?

Trevor

That's not something we've heard about, no. It is a risk, of course, of having a site on a domain where anyone can host a site -- spammers do pop up from time to time, and while we shut them down when they're reported to us, it's always possible that filtering companies might overreact. Unfortunately I suspect that your best option would be to use a custom domain instead.
